Course Description
The course is intended to provide a broad overview of the principal laws which regulate financial services in Malawi. It includes a discussion of the role of the regulatory authorities in this area and of the ways in which the legislator tries to balance the need to give service providers enough flexibility in which to operate whilst providing enough protection to investors and adequate safeguards against abuse of the financial systems.
